In marketing, persistence is key

Establishing a presence in the market is, undeniably, important to successful marketing. Establishing a presence is not limited to consistent print or media advertising. It, even more importantly, involves your company's commitment to following up with the prospective customer.

While a customer may inquire about your services today, he or she may not be ready or willing to make the purchase for a week, six months or even a year. Companies who consistently follow up and check in with prospects have a greater chance of being on the top of their customers minds when they are ready to purchase. All too often, companies give up on their prospects after one or two contacts. Try being a little more persistent, but not too aggressive. Your attentiveness will communicate to your prospective client that his/her business is valued and important to your firm.[ end of article ]
