You've implemented all the customer service best practices you can think of. How can you ensure that employees will carry out the quality customer service you demand?

A good place to start is in the interviewing process. It doesn't hurt to ask leading questions about customer service in interviews - no matter what position level. Does the applicant know the difference between internal and external customers? Does their behavior differ from one to the other? How does the applicant respond to difficult or uncomfortable situations? Exploring these issues may save your business money in the long run.
