I decided to join the coalition about a year ago after attending a PMO meeting.

When I joined the coalition I expected educational safety materials, training workshops, and awareness of safety when working with children and the elderly. Because of my area of interest being teamwork, my current expectations for both the coalition and myself include education in safety, brain storming, sharing, and problem solving with other coalition members. Some things that helped to prepare me for this position include the bicycle riding safety training with children, the car seat and seat belt checks, and all of the other various safety events.
