Bismarck Capital City Program Highlights For January

Safety Belt Campaigns: Pre-surveys were completed at Century High School and MedCenter One. The scheduled pre-survey at Bismarck High School was postponed until February. Negotiations continue with the student council at Mandan High School. Mr. Dykema at Hughes Middle School has agreed to a presentation to the Driver's Education students, but a date has not yet been set. A family that was "Saved By The Belt" in 2000 has agreed to help kick off the high school safety belt campaigns.

In other occupant concerns, letters were mailed to all Elementary School Principals to inform them of Child Passenger Safety Awareness Week activities.
