The Southwest Coalition of Safe Communities and Dickinson State University are jointly hosting the Satellite Broadcast: Driving While Impaired on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Dickinson State University North Campus. Everyone is welcome to join in the one hour downlink.

This informative broadcast will present an overview of the impaired driving issue, share the latest information about NHTSA initiatives, including the upcoming You Drink & You Drive, You Lose national law enforcement crackdown, provide recent statistics and cite studies on impaired driving, discuss the current laws on the books and new ideas. Provide a law enforcement perspective on the problem and identify what coalitions and community citizens can do to help make our streets safer. Moderator of the program will be Kareemah Abdullah, Deputy Director, of the National Community Anti-Drug Coalition Institute.
