Red River Valley SC launches its first web site

The Safe Communities Coalition of the Red River Valley now has a presence on the World Wide Web.

The coalition has launched its first Web site at www.mysafecommunity.org to let the community know about is programs, services and volunteer opportunities.

The coalition focuses on:

  • driver and passenger safety.
  • preventing drunk driving.
  • limiting youth access to alcohol.
The coalition sponsors server training for employees of local restaurants, bars and other facilities that serve or sell alcohol. Participants can register online for this training on the new Web site. Visitors to the site will also find a list of coalition members and information on volunteer opportunities. [ end of article ]
