The Optimist Club and the Mayor's Council for a Safe Community will host an Awards Luncheon this Wednesday (May 14) at the Embassy (Noon).

The ceremony will recognize and honor outstanding law enforcement, as well as outstanding members of the Injury Prevention Coalition. Chief Dan Draovitch will present awards and share information on the upcoming enforcement efforts of area law enforcement supporting the national "Click It or Ticket" May Mobilization.

This awards luncheon is an annual event of the Optimist Club, which recognizes the vital role of law enforcement to the betterment of our community. We would like to invite all local media to this event in an effort to share these positive endeavors with the citizens of Minot and surrounding communities. For more information, contact Kristen Partlow at 839-0488.[ end of article ]
