Miriam Smette is the Project Director for RSVP. RSVP is an agency that collaborates with adults age 55 and over. The agency utilizes their life experiences and skills to benefit their respective communities.
Miriam has served as a coalition member for two years. During this time she has enjoyed the interagency collaboration. She admits the project planning process has been a challenge and expresses her desire to work with the coalition to effectively organize events. Miriam also conveyed a need to develop a strategy to better utilize existing volunteers.
Miriam takes pleasure from her coalition member role and looks forward to actively promoting Safe Communities issues. She hopes that in the near future the coalition expands into the surrounding communities.
