Between 2000 and 2003, NHTSA supported demonstration programs in seven States to reduce impaired driving using well-publicized and highly visible enforcement. The projects were conducted in Georgia, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Indiana, and Michigan.
