Minot Police Department Participates in Alcohol Saturation Patrol

Law enforcement efforts resulted in several arrests.

This past weekend four officers from the Minot Police Department participated in an “Alcohol Saturation” patrol which was conducted under the direction of a grant administered by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.   

Law enforcement efforts resulted in several arrests, including: 

·    8- Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol arrests

·    3-Delivery of Alcohol arrests

·    1-Driving Under the Influence arrest

·    1-Open Container violation

·    4-Possession of Alcohol on a Public Street violations

·    2-Possession of Tobacco violations

·    1-Careless Driving violation 

The federal grant funding was provided through the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) in an attempt to address issues of underage drinking and prevention efforts. [ end of article ]
