Profile Josh Gallion: Program Manager, North Dakota Department of Transportation, Office of Traffic Safety
Published  03/26/2008 | Traffic Safety Partners |
Josh joined the Office of Traffic Safety in January 2008

Josh Gallion is happily married to his wonderful wife Becky and they have two beautiful daughters Brooklyn & Sasha.  When not working, you can usually find him at home playing barbies, dolls, or little ponies with his daughters.  He says there are times when it is a little weird sitting on the floor having a tea party with several stuffed animals but taking the time to see their imaginations at work is amazing.  When it is possible to sneak away from work and tea parties, he enjoys playing golf, reading, and studying.  Josh has earned a two-year degree from Bismarck State College and is scheduled to complete Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Dickinson State University in May of 2009.

Prior to joining the North Dakota Department of Transportation’s Office of Traffic Safety in January 2008, Josh served in the United States Air Force and as an office manager.  His time in the Air Force taught him about policies and procedures, while his time as an office manager gave him experience working with customers and suppliers.  As the program manager for Police Traffic Services, Alcohol Countermeasures, Alcohol Incentive Funds, ASSISTS, and Speed Management, Josh is using those acquired skills to help improve Traffic Safety in North Dakota.  He expects to have a positive impact on the programs and people involved with the Office of Traffic Safety.
