Minot Holds Summer Safety Fair - "Be a Better Biker"

Bring your bike for licensing and a safety inspection

The Minot Police Department is pleased to announce the annual Summer Safety Fair – “Be a Better Biker”. The event of the Mayor’s Council for a Safe Community will take place Tuesday, June 5th at the Minot City Auditorium from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The community event will feature a riding skills course instructed by the Minot Police Department Bike Patrol, bike safety checks conducted by Val’s Cyclery, helmet fitting by First District Health, and free bicycle licensing.

Bring your bike for licensing and a safety inspection, and helmets for proper fitting (a limited helmet supply will be available).

Drawings will be held for bicycles, life jackets, sport pads, headgear, t-shirts, frisbees, water bottles, quilts, and many other door prizes.   Your family will enjoy food and refreshments (for a nominal fee), music by American Thunder, and fun while mingling about the safety booths. The event is free of charge. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside the armory [ end of article ].
