These broadcasts are free and open to everyone in the community.
The Dickinson State University and Community Action Partnership has partnered to host several pre-taped educational broadcasts on Drugs, Communities and Neighborhoods. All broadcasts are free and open to the public for viewing. Each broadcast in one-hour in length.
Primary target audiences for this program will include law enforcement officials, drug prevention specialists, Drug-Free Communities Act grantees, administrators, school drug counselors, high school officials, treatment providers, drug court members, policy makers, business leaders, coalition volunteers, drug demand reduction coordinators, criminal justice professionals, members of the religious community and other community partners who may be interested.
The following three educational broadcasts have been scheduled at Dickinson State University North Campus from 11:00 am 12:00 pm in room 101:
July 27 CADCA’s “Cleaning Up the Streets Taking Drugs Out of Our Neighborhoods”.
August 10th SAMHSA’s “Addiction In The Home Healing Lives, Families and Communities”.
August 31st CSAT’s “Addiction and the Justice System Deciphering the Maze”!
