Capital City Coalition Sponsors Car Safety Seat Roundup

Car Safety Seat Checks
The Capital City Coalition for a Safe Community is sponsoring a Car Safety Seat Roundup at Bill Barth Ford on June 8, 2005 and at Stan Puklich on July 13, 2005 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

The coalition is asking the community to turn in unsafe car safety seats for a $5.00 gift certificate of their choice and a chance to win a $100 savings bond.

The event will accept unsafe car safety seats that:

· Are older than 6 years,

· are broken,

· are recalled,

· have an unknown history and

· have been in a crash.

The car seats listed above put children at risk.
